Four weeks from idea to MVP

Day 0 · The call

You explain the idea.

We ask what the first version has to prove, and to whom. Scope lands on one page, with a fixed price on it.

Week 1 · Design

Every screen, clickable in Figma.

We cut features now, while cutting is free. In code it stops being free.

Weeks 2 and 3 · The build

A demo link every Friday.

Sprints you can watch. The app grows in front of you instead of hiding until a reveal.

Week 4 · On your phone

On your actual phone.

TestFlight or a private link. Real device, real data, and a punch list we burn down.

Baclinc X runs on the engineering bench of Baclinc: 25+ builders shipping since December 2017, 150+ projects delivered. We have taken builds through App Store review, Google Play, the Chrome Web Store, Shopify app review and Meta app review, and nothing we ship leaves as a prototype: analytics wired, store listings done, and the repo, accounts and keys in your name from the first commit.

The method

Four weeks, no mystery.

Bigger builds exist, but the shape stays the same: scope hard, design fast, demo every week, hand everything over.

One call, usually under an hour. We turn the idea into a one page build sheet: what version one has to prove, what it deliberately skips, and a fixed price. If we think you should not build it yet, we say so on that call.

A clickable Figma prototype of every screen, not a mood board. You tap through it on your own phone. Changes here cost minutes, so this is the week to argue.

Code starts. Every Friday you get a link to the current build and a two line note on what changed. No status meetings, no surprise in week four.

Start of the week: the app is on your phone via TestFlight, an APK or a staging link, and we burn down the punch list together. End of the week: store listing, review process, analytics and crash reporting wired in. The repo, the store accounts and the keys are yours from day one. No hostage clauses, ever.
