Refund Policy

1. Scope

This refund policy applies to all services purchased from Baclinc Ventures Pvt. Ltd. ("Baclinc," "we," "our") including marketing retainers, performance media, design, branding, content, web and product engagements, and any one-time deliverables agreed in a signed proposal or statement of work (SOW).

2. Nature of Our Services

Baclinc provides bespoke, time-and-effort based professional services. Work begins immediately on receipt of payment, and resources (strategists, designers, engineers, media spend, third-party tools) are committed against the engagement from day one. For this reason, fees once paid are generally non-refundable except in the specific circumstances set out below.

3. When a Refund Is Available

  • Duplicate or erroneous payment: If you are charged more than once for the same invoice, or charged in error, the excess amount will be refunded in full to the original payment method.
  • Service not commenced: If a written request to cancel is received before any work has started on the engagement, the fees paid will be refunded after deducting payment-gateway charges, applicable taxes that cannot be reversed, and any third-party costs already committed on your behalf.
  • Material non-performance by Baclinc: If Baclinc fails to deliver a contracted milestone and is unable to remedy the failure within a reasonable cure period after written notice, a pro-rata refund will be issued for the undelivered portion only.

4. When a Refund Is Not Available

  • Work that has already been delivered, presented, or made available for review.
  • Media spend, ad budgets, software licences, stock assets, or other third-party costs paid out on the client's behalf.
  • Retainer fees for months that have commenced, including partial months.
  • Engagements paused, delayed, or terminated at the client's request after work has started.
  • Dissatisfaction with creative direction where the deliverable meets the scope agreed in the SOW.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email abhishek@baclinc.com from the email address on file with your invoice number, transaction reference, and the reason for the refund request. Our team will acknowledge within 3 business days and complete the assessment within 10 business days.

6. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days. Banks and card networks may take additional time to reflect the credit in your account, depending on your issuer and geography.

7. Taxes and Charges

GST and any other statutory taxes that have already been deposited with the government are not refundable. Payment-gateway fees, currency-conversion charges, and bank charges incurred on the original transaction will be deducted from the refundable amount.

8. Disputes

Any disputes arising from this policy will be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
