Abhishek Yadav is the Co-Founder and CEO of Baclinc and has spent 10+ years working in the digital marketing space. He started the agency with Shalmali Parkar in December 2017, when he was 18 — the name "Baclinc" itself was inspired by their early expertise in technical SEO and backlink strategy, which remains a core discipline of the agency nine years on.
At Baclinc, Abhishek leads the technical side of client engagements: SEO strategy, performance marketing account architecture, analytics, and the engineering decisions that make the agency's work compound over time. He's been hands-on with some of Baclinc's hardest projects — a crypto exchange (3.0 Verse) that grew 6× in organic traffic across six connected entities in six months, B2B manufacturing clients that out-ranked IndiaMart and Amazon on high-intent buyer queries, and D2C brands that broke into the Top 10 for generic category keywords against the marketplaces. He was quoted in Campaign India in 2022 when Baclinc won the performance marketing account for D'Lecta Foods through a multi-agency pitch.
His approach is research-obsessive. The team's SEO playbook is updated continuously based on signals from Google Search Liaison, SearchEngineLand, SEO RoundTable, and a lot of A/B testing on Baclinc's own properties before anything ships to clients. Abhishek speaks English, Hindi, and Marathi, and is based at Baclinc's Powai, Mumbai office.
