Consulting is bought on the strength of a named individual and a demonstrated point of view, which is exactly why most consulting firm websites underperform. The firm's real expertise sits in partners' heads, in proposals nobody outside ever sees, and in LinkedIn posts that vanish inside a week, while the website carries three hundred words about being a trusted partner. Meanwhile the buyer, almost always a committee, is running very specific searches: a regulation, a system migration, a market entry question, a certification requirement. Those searches are answerable and largely uncontested by firms, because Big Four material sits behind gated PDFs and everyone else publishes filler. The programme we run extracts what your partners already know, publishes it under their names, and organises it so the committee finds it during the months before anyone contacts you.
Consulting search in India splits by practice and by buyer maturity, and the two rarely align. Regulation and compliance driven queries, a new standard, a filing requirement, a certification, a data protection obligation, are the highest intent terms in professional services because they carry a deadline behind them, and they are usually reachable within a few months since most firms publish nothing on them. Technology and implementation queries, an ERP migration, a cloud transition, a systems integration for a specific platform, are contested by product vendors and systems integrators rather than by consultancies, which changes the angle: you win by being independent and specific about failure modes, not by repeating the vendor's brochure. Function and problem queries such as cost transformation, supply chain restructuring, market entry and organisation design are held by Big Four and global firm content and are a genuine long climb. Head terms such as 'management consulting firm in India' are largely directory and listicle territory and we do not sell them as an early outcome. The other structural feature is the sales cycle. A committee may read your material for six to nine months without ever filling a form, so attribution is genuinely hard and any agency promising clean lead attribution in this category is either overstating or measuring the wrong thing. We treat organic as pipeline influence, instrument what we honestly can, and stay open about where the measurement ends. Our own practice runs from Powai, Mumbai, and our portfolio of 150+ brands since 2017 includes long-cycle B2B categories such as SaaS, BFSI and B2B manufacturing, where the buying committee behaves in much the same way.
