/ Our Approach

Growing Crypto & Web3 brands with SEO since 2017.

SEO for a crypto or Web3 project isn't a sub-discipline of standard SaaS SEO - it operates inside Google's YMYL (Your Money, Your Life) framework, which means E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trust) isn't a nice-to-have, it's the single biggest ranking signal. We helped 3.0 Verse drive 6× organic traffic in 6 months across its main domain and 5 connected sub-entities - research, learn, editorial, tokens, tools - by treating each sub-property as an independent ranking asset wired into one topical graph. That's the approach we bring to exchanges, Layer-2 protocols, DeFi apps and NFT marketplaces: author-level credentialing, sub-property topical authority, compliance-aware content, and AEO structuring so the same pages get cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Brave AI.

Google treats crypto and Web3 content as YMYL - the same bar applied to medical, financial and legal content. That has three consequences. One: author credibility is the dominant signal. Anonymous or ghost-authored content does not rank, no matter how good the writing; verifiable team pages with LinkedIn, prior publications and Person schema are non-negotiable. Two: commercial pages (buy page, staking page, exchange page) rank slower than informational pages (what is, how to, explainer). The SEO engine builds informational authority first, then passes internal equity to commercial pages. Three: sub-property strategy - whether your research, learn, docs and blog live on the main domain or sub-domains - is a first-order decision. For 3.0 Verse, moving research and learn to sub-domains (research. and learn.) while keeping docs on the main domain unlocked the 6× gain because each sub-property built its own topical authority without diluting the commercial pages. AEO layers on top: roughly 15-25% of crypto-curious Indian users now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Brave AI before Google, and that share is growing quarterly. Structuring every cornerstone page for LLM extraction - a 50-70 word direct-answer paragraph at the top, FAQ and HowTo schema, numbered sub-sections, tight factual phrasing - compounds search volume and reduces dependency on Google alone.

Why Crypto & Web3 brands choose us for SEO.

View our work

3.0 Verse 6× Playbook

Topical graph + sub-property strategy, published and replicable - not a case we're borrowing from a vendor deck.

E-E-A-T First, Keywords Second

Author pages with verifiable bios and Article/Person schema lift crypto YMYL rankings faster than any on-page tweak.

Compliance-Aware Content

FIU-IND, ASCI and VDA-tax language baked into every commercial page - so content doesn't get pulled post-publish.

AEO Equal to SEO

Every cornerstone page structured for LLM citation (direct-answer paragraph, FAQ/HowTo schema, tight H2 hierarchy).

Technical SEO for Multi-Property Projects

Sub-domain vs sub-directory math, internal linking between docs/learn/research, Schema.org for tokens and DeFi protocols.

Indian Context, Global Reach

India-first language for Indian traders, plus global English for international wallet holders - handled via hreflang and country-specific content blocks, not duplicate pages.

How We Work

Our Proven Process

01

YMYL + E-E-A-T Audit

Baseline the author-level credibility, Schema.org coverage, compliance language and topical graph. Most crypto projects lose rankings to E-E-A-T gaps before keyword gaps.

02

Sub-Property Strategy Decision

Research, learn, docs, blog - sub-domain vs sub-directory decision with link-equity, ownership and ranking-math inputs. We reuse the 3.0 Verse framework.

03

Topical Graph Build

Cornerstone cluster map across 'what is', 'how to', 'best', commercial and geo queries. Internal linking plan so equity flows from informational to commercial.

04

E-E-A-T + Author Pages

Author bios with LinkedIn, prior publications, Person + Article schema. This is usually the single biggest ranking lever in the first 90 days.

05

Compliance-Aware Publishing

Every piece of commercial copy passes through an FIU-IND + ASCI + VDA-tax checklist before publish. Risk disclaimers baked in, not bolted on.

06

AEO Structuring + Rank Tracking

Direct-answer paragraphs, FAQ/HowTo schema and LLM-citation tracking (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Brave AI) monthly alongside GSC.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know about SEO for Crypto & Web3 brands

How long before a crypto project sees SEO results?

For a FIU-IND-registered exchange with a credible founding team and some content baseline, meaningful organic lift arrives between month 4 and month 6. That's the 3.0 Verse timeline - 6× organic traffic in 6 months. An earlier-stage Web3 protocol with no content history and no authored team plan needs 6-9 months. The single biggest accelerant is E-E-A-T: a credible team with visible bios and prior publications compresses the curve by 2-3 months.

Do you handle sub-domain vs sub-directory decisions?

Yes - and it's the first major decision in any crypto SEO engagement. Sub-domains (research., learn., blog.) build independent topical authority but cost link-equity transfer; sub-directories (/research, /learn, /blog) inherit domain authority but compete on the same cluster. For 3.0 Verse we ran a hybrid - research and learn on sub-domains (they deserved separate authority), docs on main, blog on main. We'll make the same call based on your specific topical mix and ownership model.

Can you rank commercial pages like 'buy Bitcoin India' and 'best Indian crypto exchange'?

Yes, but only after informational authority is built. Google treats these as YMYL commercial queries and ranks them conservatively - thin commercial pages don't rank without an underlying 'how to', 'what is', 'is it safe' cluster feeding them internal equity. The sequencing matters: months 1-3 we build informational depth, months 3-6 we pass equity to commercial pages, months 6+ we compete on the shortest high-intent queries.

What's your view on programmatic SEO for crypto projects?

Cautious. Programmatic SEO works for pages where there's real differentiated data per page - e.g. a token page with price, volume, holders, contract, audits, news - but fails catastrophically for thin 'crypto in [city]' style pages which Google treats as doorway spam on YMYL content. We'll build programmatic pages where there's a genuine data delta per page and we'll refuse to build them where there isn't.

How do you handle SEO for international expansion?

Hreflang plus country-specific content blocks, not duplicate sites. India-facing pages carry India-specific compliance and pricing; US or UAE pages carry their jurisdictional language. The core topical graph stays one - we're not building five independent SEO engines - but the commercial layer gets localised. This is how we'd plan it for a global exchange or L2 protocol; for an India-only product we skip this entirely.

What happens to our rankings if the token price crashes or the project rebrands?

Informational rankings usually survive a price collapse while commercial rankings do not, and planning for that gap is the difference between a durable SEO asset and a temporary one. Explainer and how-to pages keep their positions because the underlying query volume is about the category rather than your token, whereas buy and trade pages lose clicks the moment sentiment turns even if the ranking position holds. A rebrand is the more dangerous event, because a domain migration in this sector often coincides with a loss of the very team bios and publication history that earned the E-E-A-T in the first place. We plan redirects and author continuity before the rename, not after.

Will you work with an anonymous founding team?

We will take the engagement but we will tell you upfront that a fully anonymous team caps what SEO can achieve in this category. Google applies its YMYL standard here, and the author and organisation credibility signals that drive those rankings are exactly the ones a pseudonymous team cannot supply, so you end up competing on content depth alone against projects that have both. There are workable middle paths, including a named head of research or a credentialed external contributor who owns the bylines while the core team stays pseudonymous. If nobody on the project will attach a real identity to anything, our honest advice is to spend the budget on community and Twitter rather than on organic search.

Do exchange listing pages and token pages need different SEO treatment from blog content?

Yes, because a token page competes against aggregators whose entire product is fresher data than yours. CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko will always win a pure price query, so ranking a token page means offering something they structurally do not, such as contract-level detail, audit history, tokenomics explanation and the project context in one indexable place. That page also needs its data rendered server-side, because a token page that paints its numbers only after a client-side call frequently gets indexed as an empty shell. Blog content plays the opposite game, going after question intent where the aggregators are thin.
