/ Our Approach

Growing Wedding Planners brands with Website Development since 2017.

A wedding planner's website has to do something most sites never attempt: carry hundreds of large photographs and long-form film, load quickly on a phone with average Indian mobile data, and still read as expensive. Most planner sites fail the first two while chasing the third, which is why so many of them take eight seconds to show anything and lose the family before the first image resolves. The second failure is subtler. The site is built as a mood piece with no way for a serious enquirer to establish scale, tier or availability, and no enquiry flow that reflects a decision worth lakhs. A one-line contact form is the wrong instrument for a mandate this size, in both directions.

Why Wedding Planners brands choose us for Website Development.

Image Pipeline Engineered Before Anything Is Designed

This is the single decision that determines whether a planner site works. Modern formats served responsively, correct sizing per breakpoint rather than one enormous file scaled down in the browser, genuine lazy loading below the fold with the hero image prioritised, and a CDN in front of all of it. Done properly a gallery-heavy page loads in under two seconds; done the usual way the same photographs take eight and the family leaves before seeing any of them.

Portfolio Architecture That Answers Scale And Tier

A family is trying to work out in under a minute whether you operate at their level, in their region and in their format. We structure the portfolio so it can be filtered and understood by venue, destination, format and guest count band, give each wedding its own permanent URL with real text, and put the tier signals where they are read rather than burying them in an about page nobody reaches.

Galleries The Crawler Can Actually Read

Most planner sites hide their entire body of work inside JavaScript lightboxes and sliders, which means search engines and assistants see an empty page. We build galleries where the content exists in the HTML, images carry meaningful alt text and file names, and each wedding page has enough real text to be indexable, so the portfolio contributes to visibility instead of being a black box.

Enquiry Flow Sized For The Decision

A form asking only for name and email produces enquiries you cannot qualify and signals that you treat a lakhs-level mandate casually. We build a flow that captures date or date window, venue or destination, guest count band and budget range, with progressive disclosure so it does not feel like an interrogation, plus WhatsApp and call paths because a large share of Indian enquiries prefer them, and routing that gets the enquiry to a human quickly.

Private Client Areas Where They Earn Their Keep

For planners running multiple concurrent mandates, a password-protected area per wedding holding timelines, vendor contacts, moodboards, payment schedules and guest logistics reduces the WhatsApp load substantially and reads as the professionalism a large mandate expects. It is not right for every planner and we will say so, but for a studio managing several large weddings at once it is usually the highest-value build after the portfolio.

Built To Be Updated Without Us

You will add weddings continuously and you should not need a developer or a support ticket to do it. We build on a stack where your team can publish a new wedding, upload a gallery, reorder the portfolio and edit copy through an interface, with the image optimisation happening automatically on upload so nobody has to remember to compress anything. A planner site that needs a developer for every update stops being updated by season two.

How We Work

Our Proven Process

01

Audit And Weight Diagnosis

We measure the existing site under real mobile conditions, identify what the page weight actually consists of, and establish whether the portfolio is visible to crawlers at all before discussing design.

02

Portfolio And Information Architecture

Structure for the wedding archive with filtering by venue, destination, format and guest band, permanent URLs per wedding, and placement of the tier and scale signals a family reads first.

03

Design And Mobile-First Layout

Visual direction developed on the phone layout first, since that is where the shortlist is judged, with the desktop treatment following rather than leading.

04

Image Pipeline And Build

Automated optimisation on upload, responsive modern formats, correct sizing per breakpoint, deferred loading and CDN delivery, with the crawlable gallery structure built in rather than added later.

05

Enquiry Flow And Integrations

Qualification flow capturing date, venue, guest band and budget range, with WhatsApp and call paths, routing to your team and connection to whatever CRM or spreadsheet you actually use.

06

Handover And Training

Your team trained to publish weddings, manage galleries and edit copy without a developer, with the optimisation running automatically so nobody has to remember to compress a file.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know about Website Development for Wedding Planners brands

How do you keep a photo-heavy wedding site fast?

By treating image delivery as an engineering problem rather than an upload step. That means modern formats served responsively, generating multiple sizes per image and serving the right one for the device instead of shipping a full-resolution file to a phone, lazy loading everything below the fold while prioritising the hero, and putting a CDN in front of the assets. Done properly a gallery page with fifty images loads in under two seconds. The alternative, which is what most planner sites do, is uploading the photographer's originals and hoping, which produces homepages well over fifteen megabytes.

WordPress, Webflow or a custom build?

For most planners a well-built WordPress or Webflow site is the right answer, and we will tell you when custom is not worth the money. WordPress suits planners publishing frequently and wanting full control of the content model. Webflow suits a design-led site with a smaller team and less frequent structural change. A bespoke build repays itself only where a real client portal, multi-language support for NRI markets, or vendor and payment integrations are genuinely needed. Spending on a custom build purely for a portfolio site is money that would do more work in content or media.

Should our site show pricing?

Almost never a price list, but almost always a starting point or a budget band. Publishing detailed pricing invites competitors to undercut you and strips your ability to scope against a specific wedding, and no serious planner can quote a multi-day event from a table. Say nothing at all, though, and you invite a steady stream of families funded far below your floor, costing your team hours of courteous refusals. A stated minimum engagement or a typical range does the qualification for you before the conversation starts.

Do we need a client portal?

Only if you are running several large mandates at once. For a planner delivering three or four weddings a year, a portal is over-engineering and WhatsApp plus shared documents genuinely works. For a studio running eight or more concurrent mandates with multiple planners, a per-wedding area with timelines, vendor contacts, moodboards, payment schedules and guest logistics measurably reduces coordination load and reads as the professionalism a large mandate expects. We would rather talk you out of it than build something your team abandons.

Have you built websites for wedding planners before?

We have worked with multiple brands in this category since 2017, and we can share specific names and numbers on request. We have not published a wedding planner website case study. Our in-house development team has built image-heavy, portfolio-led and booking-driven sites across 150+ brands since 2017, including hospitality and venue clients where the same constraints apply: large galleries, mobile-first judgement and an enquiry flow that has to feel considered.

How long does a wedding planner website take to build?

Six to ten weeks for a standard portfolio site, and longer where a client portal, multi-language support or a large archive migration is involved. The step that actually determines the timeline is almost never development. It is getting the wedding content assembled: selecting and clearing images, writing the text for each wedding, and securing approvals from families whose weddings you want to feature. Planners consistently underestimate this, so we start the content workstream on day one rather than at the end.

Can we keep our existing photographs and just rebuild the site?

Yes, and that is the usual position, though the images will be reprocessed rather than moved across as they are. We take your originals and run them through the optimisation pipeline to produce the responsive sizes and formats the new site serves, which is where the speed gain comes from. Two things worth checking first: whether you hold usage rights for the images you intend to publish, which is often undefined in planner and photographer contracts, and whether the older weddings still represent the tier of work you want more of.

Will a new website by itself bring us more enquiries?

No, and it is worth saying so before you spend. A website converts demand that already arrives; it does not create demand. If your current site is slow, unreadable on a phone or has no enquiry path, rebuilding it will lift conversion on the traffic you already get, sometimes substantially. But if very few families are reaching the site at all, the constraint is visibility rather than the site, and the money is better spent on search, social and paid media with a lighter fix to the existing site. We will tell you which situation you are in during the audit.
